And we're back...

Haven't updated in the last few days because I've been consumed by devising a plot to resisting the urge to kill our contractor. Anywhoo, apparently he and his shenanigans will be out of our hair by the end of the month - or so he says.

Bottom line is: Kids, if your contractor calls to say he can't show up for work one day because he "lost his keys" and can't leave his house, that's probably a sign of bad things to come.
